TCA Announces 2008-2009 Scholarship Recipients

August 5, 2008, Washington , DC - 17 Turkish American students were selected to receive the TCA Turkish American Scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year. In its second year, the TCA Turkish American Scholarship Program saw a significant increase in the number of applications. Ahmet Ertegun Memorial Scholarship Awarded to Juilliard Students from Turkey
The American Turkish Society is proud to announce that the 2008-2009 Ahmet Ertegun Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to two Turkish students this fall, Kazim Cokogullu and Burak Ozdemir. The scholarship, launched by The American Turkish Society last year in memory of the late Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records. [read]
