Post-Elections Turkey Caucus and TCA Community Outreach

As of November 4, 2014, the membership of the Congressional Caucus on U.S.-Turkey Relations and Turkish Americans stood at 148 (4 Senators, 144 Representatives). Following the November elections, Turkey Caucus membership will be at 130 (4 Senators, 126 Representatives). Of the Turkey Caucus members who will no longer be in Congress, 5 lost their races, 7 retired and did not seek reelection, and 6 ran for other office and did not seek reelection. 2015 is a promising opportunity to continue to grow the Turkey Caucus and further increase Turkish American political involvement.
